Trustee minutes for: 1-12-1941.
The Annual Meeting of trustees held in the Liberal Club, Monday, December 1st, 1941.
Present : Messrs Carne, Doney, Skentlebery, Mitchell, Cowling, A. J. Philipps, W. Bennett, and
Mr Lang wrote an apology for his absence.
The minutes of the previous annual meeting were read and confirmed.
It was then resolved that consent be given for the use of the cemetery chapel as a mortuary in the event of an invasion. The balance sheet was next read and signed. It showed a balance in hand of £8-17-8.
The officers were thereupon elected as for the previous year.
It was proposed that a bier be provided as the property of the trustees and that Mr Cowling be asked to enquire about the price of one known to be available at Liskeard.
It was resolved that a charge of one shilling be made for the use of the bier.
